RIDDLES FOR READING NATURE

1. I am a big hole in the mountain. Inside me it looks deep and dark. Snakes and tigers often live in me. Guess what I am.

2. I am white and grey. I float in the sky in various shapes. Guess what I am.

3. I am bright and hot. People burn leaves or paper with me. Guess what I am.

4. I am a waxy house on a branch of a tree. The bees make me and live in me. Guess what I am.

5. This place is full of trees and animals. Elephants, tigers, monkeys, snakes and birds live here. Guess what I am.

6. I am a star. I am yellow. You can see me in the sky at night. Guess what I am.

7. I am water. I come from the sky. I can make you wet. Guess what I am.

8. When there’s fire, you can see me going up into the sky. I am grey. Guess what I am.
